My family of 5 had a wonderful stay. Perfect location that is 100yds from the beach and 100yds from a grocery store. We will stay here again!

We had a lovely time but the layout of the house nade it difficult to really enjoy the back porch since you could only access it through one of the bedrooms. The closeness to the beach was ideal and the room underneath the house was great. Also, the kitchen desperately needs a redo of kitchen accessories.

In addition, we recognize that it was August and it is hot (I'm from Charleston) but the AC needs to be fixed. The auxiliary unit barely kept the house cool.

The house had everything we needed, was perfectly located, and in working order. Had I spent more time reading the amenity list, my car would’ve been about half as full!!! Every detail was considered and it was like a home away from home. I would’ve loved to have had more time and if we come by a tournament in this area again, I will be inquiring about availability.

My small family had a wonderful time staying in this house. Very short walk to beach; appreciated the outdoor shower. Loved the breakfast nook and all rooms were light-filled and lovely. The only access to the deck is through one of the bedrooms, but that worked for us as we weren’t using that one.

We could also walk to the main business area from the house, which was nice to avoid paying for parking there. Realty office was extremely helpful before, during, and after our stay. The only problem we had was getting the living room TV to connect to the satellite dish; luckily we didn’t need to watch TV, but I’m sure management would have helped walk us through connecting it— they were great.

We definitely plan to stay in Beachside again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Our experience was great. The house was almost perfect for us. It is small so you have to be quiet when you get up or stay up late. Everything was clean, house is well supplied. We loved the day bed to greet the morning, watch the moon set and the sun rise. The small porch was great for listening to the birds greet the day. The downstairs shower and storage was perfect for our bikes and wagon. Walk to the beach was so easy and pleasant, as was the walk or bike to Subway and Harris Teeter. We were there for medical treatments. It was certainly a nice respite.We’ve already booked again for return trip in July.

Our stay was very pleasant. We had plenty of space and utilized the well stocked kitchen frequently. The location was perfect with beach access just steps away. Grocery, restaurants a playground with walking distance. The property does not have much outside lighting and not all stair lights worked so extra caution had to be used leaving and returnining after dark.

22 Beachside is in a fabulous neighborhood. We had a terrific family vacation. The property has most everything you need, but is dated. The furniture and rugs are worn and stained. The windows do not open. There is few matched glassware and only 8 wineglasses. There is several pots and pans, but all wore and mismatched. No cookie sheets are available. None of these things affected our wonderful stay. We continue acted maintenance since lightbulbs were out and they came immediately.

This was a nice house in a great location. The house had a well stocked kitchen and was clean. A few negatives: the seating in the living area was not comfortable at all! There were no dressers in any of the bedrooms, and what should be an enclosed patio room was changed into an extra seating and sleeping area. This set up leaves no privacy to the master. It also means the only access to the deck was from a secondary bedroom and the only access to the lower outside was from the front access. There was a great screened in area with a grill and nice outside seating. It is only about a 4 minute walk to the private beach access, private community pool, and tennis courts. It's close to restaurants and grocery shopping, a short drive to Mt. Pleassnt, Sullivan's Island, and 20 minutes to Charleston.

I have been to IOP several times before and never knew this neighborhood even existed - hidden gem! Access to it's own boardwalk leading out to a nice little slice of IOP beachfront, walking distance to downtown IOP with a bunch of restaurants, but still quiet enough for the kids to play out front. The inside was lovely and well-kept, better than the pictures. Plenty of space.

Overall it is a great place to stay if you don't need all the beds. Great location. Areas of improvement would be bedding. There is not enough bedding for all the beds as advertised. You are provided sheets but the day beds and trundle beds only offered knitted blankets in the closet and most had stains on them or dried cereal crusted to them. The queen beds had stiff quilts offered as bedding, which one had red stains on it. We did request new blankets and am thankful they brought some to the house. The grill is unusable. It is filthy and rusted through. The master queen is comfortable. The other queen bed is a brick. The sunroom area offers two additional bed options, but due note there is no privacy to the masterbedroom because the doors are glass. They do have a curtain for the glass doors, but these curtains do not cover the glass entirely. So just a warning if you need those additional beds, because it can be a bit awkward. The location is perfect! Easy walking distance to beach, which is beautiful. The outdoor shower was perfect for washing sandy feet. There was plenty of beach chairs provided, which was wonderful. We enjoyed are stay.

We cannot say enough good things about this home. The location was perfect, it's just a 5 minute walk to the beach, 3 minutes to the pool, and close to great restaurants! The house was well-appointed, clean, and so comfortable- it felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.
