Celebrating Halloween 2025 in Charleston

This family-fun event hosted by the Charleston police department provides a safe alternative to trick-or-treat and check out cool police car displays. There will be prizes, live music, food, and more! People are encouraged to come in costume and bring their "spooky spirit."

Bring the whole family and enjoy a golf cart parade (must register in advance to participate), a drive-through haunted house, inflatables, food vendors, and trick-or-treat bags for children!

Explore Charleston Harbor on this one-of-a-kind ghost tour. Experience the fascinating horror that the Holy City's pirates, wars, and storms have ravaged past and present while riding Charleston's dark waves.

Join Wild Dunes for a spooktacular evening at the resort's Plaza, which will transform into a festive hub of trick-or-treating excitement. As dusk settles, the thrilling costume contest (Ages 12 & under) will begin. Show off your most creative, scary, or funny costumes for a chance to win exciting prizes! A lively DJ will set the mood with haunting tunes and keep the energy high throughout the event.

Spooky season is upon us, and we're getting ready for Halloween at Hutson Alley! Tickets include an all-you-can-eat oyster roast, 3 drink tickets, a pumpkin prepped and ready for carving, and more themed activities! Drink tickets can be used for a seasonal draft beer or Halloween-inspired cocktails.

All carving supplies are provided, and prizes will be awarded for the most creative, spookiest, best traditional carving, and more!

Kick off your Halloween celebrations at The Charleston Museum with a new take on our Nighttime at the Museum event! Wear your eerie-sistible costumes and explore the Museum as you trick or treat through the galleries with a spook-tacular scavenger hunt! Have a scream with hauntingly fun activities and crafts! Make sure to bring your treat bag and flashlight. You'll be afraid to miss this event!

The attractions at Boone Hall Fright Nights are designed to frighten and to entertain. Various creatures and special effects are contained within three attractions (haunted houses, a hayride, and spooky characters). These attractions are not recommended for guests under the age of 12 or those who do not like being scared.

Since 1997, the Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch has grown to be one of the largest fall festivals in the state. 2025 will be the 29th year for this event, which has become an autumn tradition that brings people of all ages together for a day of good old-fashioned fun on the farm. Step into a world of Halloween fun at DooDash's BooBash! Families will enjoy spooky activities, and guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to this festive event. Don't miss this spooktacular event where creativity meets fun for the whole family! 

Get ready to be treated during a spooktacular fun run and festival chock full of trick-or-treating, candy, and entertainment, including face painting, jump castles, local vendors, and refreshments.

The MUSC Family Fall Festival is designed especially for children and families across the community. Come dressed in costume and enjoy a safe, fun-filled afternoon of trick-or-treating with a twist! Over 100 MUSC student leaders will host interactive tables featuring creative games and activities — no candy!

Highlights include: Themed activity tables, hands-on crafts, colorful face painting, non-edible giveaways, and lots of games! 

Transform into something spooky or fabulous! Future professionals from Paul Mitchell will be at the Main Library to apply stage makeup—think zombies, glitter ghouls, and Halloween heroes. Afterward, kids can trick-or-treat through the library.
