With Independence Day right around the corner, it's time to figure out your holiday plans!
Charleston, Isle of Palms, and Sullivan's Island all have various activities to celebrate the holiday. Whether you want to watch fireworks from the USS Yorktown or keep it more "low-key" and enjoy the show on the beach, the Charleston area is the perfect spot to celebrate with your family and friends.

Sandlapper Water Tours, one of Island Realty's premier vendors, is excited to offer an exclusive 4th of July experience that allows passengers to partake in the holiday fun from the water. Hop aboard Sandlapper Water Tours' 45-foot Corinthian Catamaran, "The Palmetto," for a sunset tour of Charleston's historic harbor. As the sun sets, The Palmetto will make its way to Patriots Point to join the crowds gathering to watch the legendary fireworks show.

Get the best of both worlds – the beach and a fireworks show! Some of the area's best fireworks are right in your own backyard, Front Beach! Enjoy the fireworks this Independence Day off of the coast of Isle of Palms with other guests and locals in the area.
Details:
- The area of the beach between 21st Avenue and Coconut Joe's will close at 6:30 p.m. for the setup and preparation of the Fireworks Display sponsored by the City.
- Please be prepared to leave the beach with your belongings at 6:30 p.m. You may remain inside the park area or behind the restroom facilities to watch the show.
- This event is free and open to the public
- Paid parking is available at the Municipal Parking Lots on Pavilion Drive
Where: Stith Park | Sullivan's Island, SC
When: July 4th, 2025 | 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM

Start your day with the annual Sullivan's Island golf cart and bike parade. Once the parade has concluded, there will be festivities at the finish line like Kona Ice, a ribbon ceremony for the best decorated golf carts/bikes, and the Fire Department will be there to hose down willing kids!
That evening, bring a chair or a blanket and get ready for the fireworks display! The Independence Day party at Stith Park will feature music by the Shem Creek Boogie Band and a patriotic fireworks show.

- The parade route begins at Sunrise Presbyterian Church and ends at Sullivan's Island Elementary School
- Register your golf cart/bike at Town Hall from Monday, June 9, through Thursday, July 3, if you would like to be considered in the decorating competition!
- The Independence Day Party at Sith Park begins at 6:00 PM with fireworks set to begin just after 9:00 PM

Celebrate the Fourth by cheering on the Charleston RiverDogs as they play against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Thursday's game will shine a spotlight on active duty and retired military members and will include a post-game fireworks show.

Celebrate Independence Day at Wild Dunes Resort with Wild Dunes' 4th of July Cookout! Each ticket includes access to a casual southern-style cookout menu at the Osprey Terrace at the Sweetgrass Inn.
